Fees and the split
Every trade pays a 3% creator fee. The creator wallet claims it and splits it three ways: 50% packs, 10% liquidity, 40% ops. The Economy page shows it live.
The creator fee
On pump.fun, a coin paired with something other than SOL or USDC can set its own creator fee, up to 3%, when it is created. $POKEPACKS is paired with CARDS, the Collector Crypt token, and set 3%. It applies to every buy and sell, on the bonding curve and in the pool after graduation. After launch the site reads the rate from chain.
Two wallets
- The creator wallet launched the coin, so pump.fun pays it every fee. Once a day it claims the fees, swaps the packs share to USDC and sends that USDC to the vault. The liquidity and ops shares stay in it.
- The Pack Vault buys the packs, holds the cards until the draw and sends them to the winners. It only ever holds pack money, the cards and a little SOL for fees.
Both addresses are on the Transparency page, and neither can win a card. There is no on chain fee sharing: the split happens by hand after each claim, in public transactions.
The split
| Share | Of each claim | What it pays for |
|---|---|---|
| Packs | 50% | The $25 packs on Collector Crypt. Every card goes to a holder. |
| Liquidity | 10% | Added to the pool. Deeper liquidity means less slippage, more volume and more fees. |
| Ops | 40% | The stream, the daily draw and building the product. |
The pot
The pot is the pack money not yet spent, what the next buy has to spend:
pot = 50% of every fee claimed so far
- USDC the Pack Vault has spent on packs
+ 50% of the fees not yet claimed
- The site keeps a ledger from the two wallets' own transactions: every claim of the creator wallet, every swap of its CARDS to USDC, and every USDC in or out of the Pack Vault. Anyone can check it on Solscan.
- Each claim is valued at what its CARDS sold for on Jupiter, or at the Jupiter price until they are sold. Fees not yet claimed are read from pump.fun's creator vault and valued at the Jupiter price.
- The money sits in three places: unclaimed on pump.fun, claimed and held in the creator wallet until the daily buy, and USDC in the Pack Vault. Moving it from one to the next does not change the pot.
- The liquidity and ops shares stay in the creator wallet and never count. USDC sent to the Pack Vault from any other wallet is not pack money either. If the vault buys packs ahead of the fees, the next fees pay that back first.
- The pot is counted in $25 packs: a projection for the next buy, not a record of the last one. On a big day the vault can buy bigger ones ($50, $100 or $250) so the rip show stays short. What is left under one pack rolls over.
The site refreshes the pot about every 15 seconds. The Economy page also shows the fees claimed since launch and what has been spent on packs.
The swap
Collector Crypt sells packs for USDC. The operator claims in the creator wallet, swaps the CARDS on Jupiter and sends the packs share as USDC to the Pack Vault. Prices move before the swap, so the pack count can land a little off the estimate.
